After 6 days in ICU with bilateral pneumonia, sepsis, and dehydration,
the xyl is now home from the hospital. Although out of the woods, she
is still very weak and her activities have been curtailed until after a
doctor visit next week.

Thank you to all the members of this fantastic organization that sent
the comforting messages during her hospitalization, you do not realize
how heart lifting it was to receive each and every one of them.

The camaraderie and thoughtfulness of the membership is one of the
things that make the 070 club the best amateur radio organization there
is, and one that I am proud to be a member of.

Thank you,

Steve,
The prop around here was really weird for awhile last evening.
First, I saw John,KE4JB, booming in here on 20m.  That never happens because we are very close for 20m.  Nevertheless he was so strong that I dropped in for a rare QSO on 20m.  Then Jerry, N9AVY, called me with a good sig but he didn't hear me calling him back  Then you joined the party from Denver with a good sig so I decided to call but Jerry and John beat me to it.
This time. only a few minutes later, John's sig was barely a trace as usual
and you slowly faded from view.  Lots o' PODXS OTA! This time I wasn't even gravy though!
The Ion River is very unpredictable.

Sunday 10Jul16 I plan to activate Nez Perce National Historic Park from the Bear Paw Battlefield near Chinook  MT - also DN58. Times are approximate due to travel but will be somewhere between 16:00 to 23:00 UTC.  On air time is limited by computer battery life!  20m primary, 40m only if 20m isn't working. Spots will be greatly appreciated as I probably won't have internet or cell from the Battlefield.

I post my logs to LoTW, eQSL, and QRZ as soon as I have reliable internet.

This will probably be the northeastern extent of our MT travels.  From there we will head SW back towards Great Falls, Helena, and Bozeman,  We think we will be in WY by August.  Will probably try to activate Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP and Bighorn Canyon.  I will post here as plans firm up.

Hope to see you on the waterfall this evening and tomorrow!
