Good morning,

Bob calling on 6m. No traces visible. He will call at the top of every hour (if he remembers).

He has returnd to 20m with his fantastic 4-Square Swim Raft and I will try 40m, check 30m, 17m and 15m using the 31 foot vertical on the kayak or the dipole.

Look for KC9UR!

We have had many 3-Band APE Hunters qualify. About 120 QSO's so far and 2 with W6QP - APE to APE.

W6QP APE status report!

Well, this is the 1st year we've done our annual APE effort without the Internet.

I'm using my iPhone as a "Hotspot" and connecting to it with my iPad. It's ok for an occasional email, etc., but far from the home station setup.

Conditions have been pretty good thus far and I enjoyed following the guys on 40m last night. It paid off as I worked several new members for LONP credit.

W6QP is currently at 126 Q's on 4 bands.

I'll stick with it until my XYL makes me pull the plug and head down the hill.

Back to my waterfall.

Just sayin',

Back in September of 2014 I looked at PODXS-070 members by state.  AR had 15 members.

We have members in every state.  But the states with the fewest members were:

Vermont - 2
RI and D of C - 3
AL, DE, ND, and WY - 4

We've a lot of new members since then, so thing may have changed.

I briefly saw WB4MNK so never actually worked him. Got CO6CG which is all I needed for the time slot. Let me get out of the “WOW, I am tired” stage and I will be more than happy to assist anyone work their way up the grid…. Be specific of day/time and if the noise/static gods decide to be quiet or at least talk in a low roar I will help anyone. I understand the time and effort (now) it takes to get the hardest hours available.  I’d help with the 11:00 am hour (i.e. 16:00 Central) if I awaken by then and get on in time.

So, in summary, 2 days – 100% success and those days are now closed out as complete.

I am going to find a bed to fall into and not wake up for oh… maybe 15 hours or thereabouts to start this all over again tonight.

Thanks to all who TRIED and those who actually was able to get through the noise to me.

Wednesday is going to be the hardest challenge as I have time slots spread out all over – with 2 hour breaks in between but I am devoted to getting these done if possible.

The fun begins at 02:00 Central time (07:00 UTC) so see all then, assuming something unforeseen does not jump in my way.

OK, 1st hour is in the book – need the next four hours if anyone is available and willing to fight the static… Working 40m right now unless someone has a better offer…

… I’m just sayin’

W7RIV – Byron;

Thanks a ton for that – was rough as conditions are worse tonight on 40 than last evening. Appreciate you staying with me and getting it in the books!!

Excellent night on 40m

W7RIV

I couldn't want to try some new tricks I have been learning and test out somethings. 20m has been terrible, so I decided to tune up on 40m. I'm very glad I did. I think PODXS070 was the owners of the band...except for N4EMP. Though I think we should message him and let him know about the club.

Very happy to work quite a few spots on the 24x7, thanks or the motivation K3JAE. I was also able to work some APE, QRP and all sorts of fun things.

Take care everyone...my addiction has left me typing this 4 hours before I need to be up for work.

John, I saw you working the AH6 station. Good job!
I worked W8BI 070-2105 and KB8UEY 070-2106 with W6QP & N6MG for new LONP contacts.
I'm glad I stayed up.
Crashing mode here.
Just sayin,....
