Don't believe all this talk about the solar flare, hi hi.

6 meters is open, I am hearing CW, SSB, JT65, even SSTV.

Where are PSK31 guys and YL's?

I'll be on 50.290 and will alternate every few minutes between phone and PSK for as long as it lasts.

I suspect that more of them are somewhat devoid of PSK operators. If I was closer to IA & MO I'd drive there to help you out... yeah, I know it's only an inch or so on the map, but ....

Yes , I also have a lot of "loose ends" to tidy up.  Am sure that many are in the same boat.

(The comment a few minutes ago about 6m prompted me to post the following, which I had been thinking about for a while.)

In going through my progress towards a number of 070 and 070-related endorsements, I see that I am one QSO short of a good number of them. Although there are folks who have done all of this, I’m sure I’m not the only one who still needs these items. Perhaps you need more than one of them, but maybe we can all benefit from a joint effort.

So here’s my “just one more” list:
1.       - A 6m QSO for “6 on 6m.” I actually have more than 6 QSOs, but not six unique states/countries as required by the endorsement rules. I have four states (PA, FL, MS and LA) and the USA, but need one more of either.
2.       - A Dakota, to finish off the Triple Double. (I have nine Dakotas, plus all ten Carolinas and Virginias.)
3.       - 8R (Guyana) for South America.
4.       - The 0800z hour on Thursday for 24x7.
5.       - Grids: I have five states that are each being held up by no more than one grid.
a.       CN98 finishes off WA.
b.       EL59 finishes off Louisiana.
c.       FN45 finishes off New Hampshire
d.       And EN20 finishes off two states (IA and MO) for me!
I would welcome any sort of help on these, either skeds or recommendations/referrals. Thanks.

Yes, 6 meters is open (unlike 10 , 12, & 15m).  Today on 6  I worked a few new states plus Puerto Rico and Dominican Rep. which are 2 ATNOs on 6m.

Al this will my stinkin' little RCI 5054 and a homebrew 6m rotatable dipole (now pictured on my QRZ page.).

After much effort last year, I have two PSK31 contacts on 6M.  After much effort this year I have 0 PSK31 contacts this year.  Guess there's even less happening out here on 6M PSK than there is east of the Mississippi...

I'm beginning to think it's a fool's errand, or at least a pretty inefficient use of time from my QTH.
