Actually Charlie, I worked Andris on the long wire. Are you sure you
aren't thinking of N3XC? He just put up a 5/8 cb vertical that he is
trying
to use on the hi bands...Jay.

TS-50

Leonel Soares <leonelfcs@...>

Hi All,
A friend of mine have now a Kenwood TS-50 and intend to use that rig for digital modes.
Anyone have experience with TS-50 ?
How to connect a simple homebrew interface to this rig ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Rumble Team Basics 101

N3DQU@...

Looks like there are at least three 070 Club members looking for a Rumble
team to hook up with: Brian DA1TJO, Chris KC8LJN and Ernie WM2U. Check out
Ernie's website at < http://www.qsl.net/wm2u/ > to see what the new rules are
for the team category, but basically you should know that each team can have
up to 5 members, so if you are thinking about forming a team you will want to
go for the maximum number. Best to spread the members out geographically too.
Hey, you don't have to be a big contester to get in on the team action. This
is all for funsies with a new wrinkle thrown in! Once you have your team
members all lined up and have decided on a "Gaffer" (team leader), decide on
a name and send your team roster info to Ernie WM2U at emills@nycap.rr.com
and he will post your team up on the Rumble results website. You must
register your team with Ernie to officially be in the team category, so don't
forget this important step!

If you haven't already, you may want to subscribe to the TARA PSK
reflector. There has already been quite a bit of good-natured ribbing going
on there especially since the 070 ALPHA TEAM made it's debut earlier today,
so you won't want to miss out on the verbage leading up to the big event. To
sign up for the TARA reflector, send an email to <
psk-tara-subscribe@yahoogroups.com > and put the following in the BODY of the
message: subscribe psk-tara (your email address without the parenthesis). You
can also visit the TARA website at < http://www.n2ty.org/ > where they
already have a magic signup box already to go, all you have to do is plug in
your email address and push the button....Hope to see some more teams coming
on line soon! 73 de Jay N3DQU/070 ALPHA TEAM.

Re: W1SQLPSK V4 Available

w1sql@...

Well my host did it to me again. I have to reload all the sever scripts for the third time this week. This will take a couple of hours to complete. New users will not be able to download the software but registered users should not have a problem. Don't know if your registered? Try anyway the worst that will happen is that you are returned to the registration page.

Sorry for the trouble,
Joe

Hello All,
I just uploaded a new beta version of W1SQLPSK. Version 4 is full of user recommended changes and enhancements. I have also uploaded a new sample call book data file. This release is a release candidate and should work fine as an upgrade or new install. However, as with any upgrade, you should be sure to backup you current files before the installation.

This is a pre-release copy. As such, please report any problems so that we can get them cleaned up as soon as possible.

Here are some of the features that are available in V4:

Improved macro setup and maintenance. Now you can change them on the fly.
Additional logging fields.
Improved configuration menu.
Added the ability to copy data from the receive window to the log fields as well as the clipboard.
Improved call sign lookup. Lookups now show previous contact and QSL status for each band by state.
Added a most wanted feature to remind you of key stations. This can be used to help find special events stations or DXpedition station.

Please check the website for all the information www.faria.net/w1sql

73 & enjoy,
Joe
