Actually Charlie, I worked Andris on the long wire. Are you sure you
aren't thinking of N3XC? He just put up a 5/8 cb vertical that he is trying to use on the hi bands...Jay.

Rumble Team Basics 101

Looks like there are at least three 070 Club members looking for a Rumble
team to hook up with: Brian DA1TJO, Chris KC8LJN and Ernie WM2U. Check out Ernie's website at < http://www.qsl.net/wm2u/ > to see what the new rules are for the team category, but basically you should know that each team can have up to 5 members, so if you are thinking about forming a team you will want to go for the maximum number. Best to spread the members out geographically too. Hey, you don't have to be a big contester to get in on the team action. This is all for funsies with a new wrinkle thrown in! Once you have your team members all lined up and have decided on a "Gaffer" (team leader), decide on a name and send your team roster info to Ernie WM2U at emills@nycap.rr.com and he will post your team up on the Rumble results website. You must register your team with Ernie to officially be in the team category, so don't forget this important step! If you haven't already, you may want to subscribe to the TARA PSK reflector. There has already been quite a bit of good-natured ribbing going on there especially since the 070 ALPHA TEAM made it's debut earlier today, so you won't want to miss out on the verbage leading up to the big event. To sign up for the TARA reflector, send an email to < psk-tara-subscribe@yahoogroups.com > and put the following in the BODY of the message: subscribe psk-tara (your email address without the parenthesis). my host did it to me again. I have to reload all the sever scripts for the third
time this week. This will take a couple of hours to complete. New users will not
be able to download the software but registered users should not have a problem.
Don't know if your registered? Try anyway the worst that will happen is that you
are returned to the registration page.
