to find. I finally found him on ssb on 20M. DX summit helped and the spot page on the website helped some. I found the ops would change around on freq and not log it. I ended up just searching 20 ssb for the elusive ones. The main problem I had was not being able to hear them in Texas. When they would beam west it went better. Being a bare bones station it was hard to bust the pileups. I got all I could on psk but as usuall could only find 5. Most on ssb or cw. Conditions were not favorable at all. Good luck in your hunting... Chuck, K5EVR 070 1305

I did hear N5JDT in New Mexico again last night. Actually I was already asleep, but PSK Reporter recorded his call. I did work him two nights ago, so I have my very first 160m contact! I will be on again tonight.... Thanks again. Eric PS; Dan, it took me 8 years to finally string up enough wire to work this band! :) On Jul 3, 2012, at 7:41 PM, Milton Garb wrote: Yup. When you upload, it completely replaces the log that was there before. So

my recommendation is to just always upload your whole PSK log (any non-PSK qso's will just be ignored, but goes a little faster excluding them). ... and you might be surprised at what the lonp or endorsements reports find for you :) --david KJ4IZW

WTW progress checking
David Westbrook
I've noticed that about half-dozen people have uploaded small (~10 or 20)
logs ... When checking your WTW progress in the endorsement checker: http://dwestbrook.net/projects/ham/070-checker/ There's no need to limit your log upload to contacts since July 1st ... The checker automatically validates the date (and mode, too). Also, uploading your whole PSK log gets you the added benefit of checking against LONP and all the endorsements -- can see what you're close on, or might even find one you didn't know you had completed!! enjoy & GL! --david KJ4IZW

You guys are likely close enough to work ground wave :)
I had to do QRZ to figure out where you were - didn't know the city. I've worked many a contest running the bands with friends who are close, doing 160M with the tuner screaming but if you are close you really don't need a proper antenna (and Chuck during the TDW before I got the 80M dipole modified to work as a T-hat). Will scramble to get all of the antennas fixed when I get back there on the 18th - all of the feedlines are dropped down into my hostas so it shouldn't take long. I have a line running out of my window so I can pull them back in (if I hadn't had a break in I probably would have left them running into the house but now...).
