Great idea on the promo, Milt! Maybe Jay or Charlie have the email address list for a direct email broadcast to members who aren't signed up for the email reflector (yeah, I don't know why either...).

Now CQ-ing on 20M from the great Pacific NW, beaming east. See ya on the bands everyone...

Three Day Weekend Operating Event (TDW)

Sly G <w6qe@...>

Hello everybody.
Just a reminder that our biggest and best operating event of the year is in full swing and going great!
Propagation could be better, but isn't that always the case?
If you're a casual operator, or an avid psk'r, turn your radio on, and give out a few Q's to the 070 member traces on the bands.
Please subscribe to the 070 Club Contest email reflector and have some fun with the rest of us?
Thanks for the bandwidth.
Milt.

Feel kinda stupid that I have to ask.....been out of the loop too long I guess.....where do you all gather on 80m? I have to go for most of the day, and will be back on the air when 80m should be going...

Hi everyone

I'm not really competing in the test but I'm happy to give out QSO's for the TDW.

I'll be on 14075 to avoid the QRM from 0330 UTC on the short path to USA

Re: in-game TDW scoreboard

y, just submit again after it's corrected (should be the <srx> or
<srx_string> column for the exchange), and it will replace what you
had before. You can keep re-submitting until the log due date.

It will auto-recalculate the totals, too

thanks!

It will automatically calculate your score AND provide error-checking

(e.g. match reported callsign & 070 #).

The more logs, the more fun stats!  The "unique calls" (i.e. total

participants) will be a very interesting one.

I just updated it so that logs will be hidden until the end of the contest,
but the summary stats are up for people to check out ..
