I have seen this going on for a few weeks here on the mid-Atlantic coast
of the US. VK8PDX in the Northern Territory for me logged on 4/6 and
have seen him most every day since in the same time frame. I saw him on
20 last week about an hour later but could not get his attention.

between 9000 and 10000 miles.

I got Craig, VK8PDX in the Northern Territories and Jim, VK7SM in

AX8PDX Special Call this weekend on PSK from Australia

Craig Edwards

G’Day Guys

I’ll be using the special call AX8PDX to commemorate ANZAC day. This is the day that we stop and honour the men and women in our armed forces.

On Saturday UTC I’ll be on PSK31 and beaming stateside via long path on 20m around 2100-2300 and then beaming short path on 15m from around 2300-0100, depending on conditions.

Then on Sunday from 0900 UTC until your American sunrise I’ll be on 40m. I won’t be there all the time because during the 0900-1200 UTC period it’s also open to Europe on 15m, so I’ll be alternating between the two bands.

This is only a 24 hour call sign – 1430 UTC Saturday April 24 to 1430 UTC April 25 (ANZAC day local time)

Hope to see you on the bands. Special AX8PDX cards have been printed and I will reply to QSLs sent direct to me – no return postage necessary. All other cards will be sent via the bureau by May or so.

Hope to see you on the waterfall

73s Craig VK8PDX
Alice SpringsNT

Coming May 1st: Get ready for Gridloc Hell!

scollaysquarewriter <WB2HTO@...>

It's a brand new Award from the Feld Hell Club and it starts in about a week.

The rules for playing Gridloc Hell are simple: just add the two numbers found in every Grid Locator for each contact you make in any mode of Hell. Ex: If you contact Brad, WF7T, he is located in grid EM66pe. That's worth 66 points. Jen, KB1TSU operates from grid FN42, so she is worth 42 points. Collect grid numbers and before you know it you'll be on your way to earning one of three certificates. Visit https://sites.google.com/site/feldhellclub/gridloc-hell for more details and to get (if you don't have one already) your free Feld Hell Club membership number.
