Date

1000th member mark

Justin Mattes--KC2GIK

Even though the meember 1000  mark should be celebrated like all the others, maybe it should be pushed back until September even if the mark is reached in August? I am only suggesting that because we wouldn 't want to take away from the APE's!! Just a thought
That reminds me my APE is coming up THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 1ST from Stony Point Lighthouse in Stony Point NY. Look for the special event callsign N2S/LH around 14.071 because I want to stay away from other stations

Hi John,

I'd be happy to try and help with WA. Let me know some times that might work
for you and we can set something up if you'd like. I don't get home until
about 7:00PM Pacific Time during the week but I will be on most of this
weekend.

went to the 2009 page and only see 2 listed. I know several have posted in
here.

I'm going to try my darnedest to be at Admiralty head Lighthouse on Whidbey
Island this Saturday or the 8th (which ever is light house day). Lets hope
the OOPS gods don't get me again.

The Valley Camp on the weekend of the 21st through the 23rd. Im hoping to
get Cable routed through my 5th wheel soon so I can run the rig inside and
the hustler somewhere outside.

Hi John & other folks working on their digital WAS,
I'd like to suggest you folks needing states, try working some of the digital contests.
In looking at the states you need, there isn't anything rare about them. Your paths just haven't crossed yet.
Check out our website and in particular, the Contest Calendar.
As the Log Checker for the Low Band Sprints, I can tell you that each of the states you need, with the exception of AK were worked by members.
All of the logs aren't in yet, so perhaps there's a log out there with AK. We have several members in AK and they are very active.
I've completed my Digital WAS, and all via LotW. Now all I have to do is the paperwork.
Hope this helps.
