Re: Dayton Endorsements & APE

Hi Karen,

I'm sure I'll do one from CT once I learn the lay of the land...
I certainly enjoyed the one I did a couple of years ago!

P.S. I saw you on 80M during the contest but my supershielded hotel room apparently didn't let me get out to you!

Cheers,
Dan

10M

wa4eez

Just tried to work N4LCC on 10m..he came back to me but got lost with
quick fade...

It might be nice if we just continued to check 15m on the top of the
hour, and 10m at the bottom, like we did in the TDW...at least til the
condx improve.

I hope to work some of you on 6m...only had 2 6m contacts in the TDW,
but think it would be fun to try more. Maybe we could all check 6m on
the quarter-hour.

Thanks to everyone I worked in the TDW--and I do agree that it might be
a good thing to change the rules to include everyone...give one point
for non-members and 2 points for members...good publicity!

Okay thanks. Had my dupe sheet checked but not in log. Missed you because of that. You were booming into
North Texas on 10, saw you and Patrick a lot.

I recall calling you on another band and you told me I was a dupe, I must have checked the wrong band on the
dupe sheet,

Sorry for the confusion.

Well it took the entire day today but I have finally got my log from
this past weekend up on m y website. For those web programmers out there
this was all done by hand, the HTML., Well almost I have a template
where I have table setup and I just copy and paste. Mark has to vtell me
how he uploads his logs to his site
As for the actual contest I had a blast. Picked up a lot of contacts and
I'm on my way to LONP. There was a slight local opening on 40 where I
go-t my first NH contact, I'm from NJ. You can bet that card is going
out by week's end. Other t han that it was a great warmuuup for Field
Day at the end of the month!
Don't forget to check my log

Re: Psk31 on 6m

w4ddr@...

I try it every now and then but so far no luck. I just haven't caught a good opening (well, really I get so busy on SSB that I forget to try PSK until the opening closes down and then I think oops, I meant to try PSK). I also try it hoping maybe somebody in my local area will be on too but so far no luck with that either.

I hope to catch you and others sometime so please keep trying it!

In HRD click the logbook icon at the top of toolbar. Single click on the
first entry in your log you want to submit, hold the shift key and click
the last entry, this will select them all. If you need to add or remove
single entries hold the ctrl key and single click on the individual
entry. After this go to the logbook pulldown menu at the very top and
Export to ADIF. Press the select button and pick the location and
filename you want to save, check ADIF/LOTW inly and the Selected button
at the bottom. If you want to open the file to see it in your text
editor check the View file button. Hit OK and your done.
Hope this works for you.

What's the change that you see? I don't see anything changed (except the manager). It still says that antennas must be transported to the site. Only "antenna supports" can be pre-existing.

I guess you can use the beam if you use it to support your dipole.

Steve

I see the rule has changed slightly that I may like :D

Before I could not use the 3 element Beam that is installed at Valley camp for my APE. Now I see what appears to be a change that I can use it?

Is this a true statement ?
