Re: New member!

Jim Whittlesey KC4RHW <w4sci@...>

Thanks Charlie for clearing that up as I try and keep a roster of all PSK
users that happen to belong to our Chapter and Boone throwed me there I had
a master 10-10 number checker that I cross reference with my master and that
was why I ask the question about KI3N as the 10-10 master shows that as a SK
call sign so I cross referenced with QRZ and it came up with Ken Yates so it
did throw up a red flag to me as I do run across many who say they have a
10-10 Number and give a call sign that does not match any FCC - 10-10 or
Springbok calls or numbers so I have a bad habit of asking questions as
there are a lot of CB'ers out there that just love to see how much havoc
they can cause on the Ham Bands also I was an OO for ARRL for a while so
just a habit I got into over the years of being a Ham So again many thanks
for clearing it up take care hope to catch you on one of the bands real soon
I hope TTUL God Bless

Just curious if anyone wor ked the Inauguration Special Event
yesterday? I honestly forgot the entire ham radio aspect of the event
but it was indeed listed on the ARRL website and in QST.

Didn't work anything on PSK or other digital modes (the Ten-Tec rig I got didn't come with the 8-pin DIN connector for the aux I/O and I'm setting up a new box, so I'm strictly SSB for right now), but I did work W3A on 20m and would have worked the K0MIK special event station in the Virgin Islands but I was waiting for a friend (Moody Law, WQ6I) to take his turn as the op and I missed making the connection with him, unfortunately.
Will be interested to see the special event card, even though I didn't vote for him. ;)
