It would be 1000 Points.

No repeat 070 numbers on any band.

If I work 070 member 500 on 80 and then again on 40, is that 1000 points, or 500? The rules call for adding up the "unique" member numbers.
Thanks & having a blast!

I don't see much on 40. It might be the very high (S-9) local noise level. Things look pretty good on 80, though. And I haven't even tried 160 yet.

Hello group,

I recently had a computer crash and decided to update to Vista while I
had the chance. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get things working right
with Vista. Hopefully someone on this list can help me, before I throw
this computer out the window.

Short version - I am using a Rigblaster Plus interface. I have the
sound output from my FT950 run to the back of the computer, and the
sound levels are showing up and I can decode the data using DM780. That
part is working. However, I can't hear the sound, no matter what I do
or how high I turn up volume levels. The computer sound works fine, I
can play music or whatever all day long, but I can't hear the sound from
the radio.

Second, the Rigblaster Plus is stuck in transmit mode for some reason
with Vista. I have tried to update the drivers per the Rigblaster
website and still no luck.

Can anyone help me?

If I can't get this fixed in the next few hours, I'll miss the 800th
member celebration, and I really don't want to miss it!!

Re: Need some help... Vista!

Mike Flowers

Hi Patrick,

Vista handles sound devices differently than previous versions of Windows.
I had to make some adjustements here as I remember, but I don't remember
just what I had to do. Go here and try a few things:

*Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Manage Audio Devices >* and
check the settings under the 'Playback' and 'Recording' tabs. Once I made
the correct selections here, everything worked for me. There was some trial
and error involved, of course.

I hope some of this helps ...
