Ok guys and gals, it is now official...the maximum multiplier for the
Three-Day Weekend (TDW) is ninety (90). A dupe sheet is now available on the
TDW Rules webpage at < http://hometown.aol.com/n3dqu/070_tdw.htm >, just
click on the link. There were also plans to have a logger program available,
but AA8QQ ran into a few snags and was not able to get the program up and
running in time.

Joe W1SQL sez that there is a possibility that he may work the TDW from
both his home QTH and as maritime mobile and asked if we could accomodate him
in the contest. We sed "Sure, why not?" So for the TDW, on each band you can
work W1SQL twice for QSO points: once at his home QTH and once as /MM, but he
will only be good for one multiplier, ok?

If any newcomers to the club need their 070 member numbers, please send an
email direct to JHudak3rd@aol.com.

Don't forget, NO WARC BANDS.

Finally, just a reminder for the UTC/Zulu-challenged that the TDW starts
June 1, 0000z (that is Thursday nite, 2000z eastern time)....

Already checked. They consider all digital modes as
RTTY. Doesn't matter if it's PSK31, MFSK16,
Hellschreiber, facsimile, SSTV, or plain old FSK RTTY,
the certificate still says only "RTTY." So my WAC cert
says RTTY, though they did endorse it for QRP.

IMHO, the categories should be CW, Voice (whether AM,
FM, SSB, or whatever), Digital (to include RTTY, PSK,
MFSK, etc), and Image (fax, SSTV, FSTV). But then
again, I would also include ships legally anchored in
a harbor for DXCC, too.

guys are a little more generous than the ARRL.

Hey Ernie...sorry abt the rig crashing... i have some problems here too...the
computer in the shack crashed a couple of QSO's after the slooooow qso that
DL2AYL saw me in....i think it got BORED to death after that one....have a
guy coming over Tues. to take a look....if it can't be saved the family
computor goes into the shack (hi hi) too bad for the xly and my son...hpe
you can get up and running agn real soon...n3xc

The conditions are not the best, seems I have to skip my beauty-sleep to get you
boys into the log. Saw last weekend a very rare dx on 20 meters (N3XC) in qso
with a sloooooow typist, the band faded out before he finished. :-(

wasted a bunch of time asking questions about France,
and didn't recognize the prefix. Maybe some time ...

We'll miss you. Best wishes on getting a new rig soon,
and putting yourself back on the air.

I plan to be on at least for a few hours, but it will
be only on 20m, and only QRP. Still no progress on the
multi-band radio. :-(

BTW, if anyone has my email address in their address
books, please change it to the w3hf@arrl.net address.
My current ISP, Voicenet, is terminating their
relationship with my DSL provider, so it looks like
I'll be switching ISPs.
