There's an IC-7300 group on facebook which seems to be growing daily. He can run his problem by them and there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable hams there.

I don't have an IC-7300 but I was trying to help a fellow ham out that was having a problem with the rig going into RX after transmitting for a few minutes. The rig would switch to RX however the software was still sending data to the rig so he thought it might be a RF problem. It turned out that the IC-7300 has a timeout feature that defaults to zero (off) however he updated the firmware to version 1.40 and that version defaults to 3 minutes. Not sure if Icom intended to do that or if it was an "OOPS", but every time he goes to RTTY or PSK he has to reset it, bummer. Just a heads up if anyone out there runs into the problem or hears another ham with the same situation.
