Re: Signalink USB

“No annoying clutter on the table” has ten syllables, the right number of syllables for a sonnet although the syllable emphasis is wonky for iambic pentameter.  I will leave it up to you to write the remaining 13 lines.

I love sonnets, although I’m complete rubbish at writing them.

I would write a sonnet to my IC-7100, but English 101 was a long time ago, and I can't remember the form, plus how would I rhyme "one USB cable"? :-)

Understood. The simplification comes from the fact that right now I have three cables from the computer to the interface: Tx audio, Rx audio, and PTT (which is a USB-to-RS232 adapter connected to the RS232 input on the adapter). Consolidating that mess into a single USB is one of the goals.

You're going to need at least 2 cables.  The USB cable is between the SignaLink and the computer, and then you'll need a cable from the SignaLink to the radio.
