Re: Conditions are dismal

Had relative thing tonite  and didn't get on the air until 0335  UTC. Managed to work 10 stations on 80m; so wouldn't call it "dismal" ... maybe challenging.   N9WVM was the most challenging with us being so close and the QSB was horrible, but we made the contact.

BTW  I was giving out my club call  K9ATI along with it's 070# 1808 (sorry if I accidently gave out 1608 .. too much vino !)   So if you worked me along with k9ati put it in your log.  Also, K9ATI only QSLs via Eqsl.

Looks like I picked 80m clean and other bands seem dead.

73,

Jerry  N9AVY  ... hoping to see the final 15 in the morning !

Looks like 80m just dried up for me after 19 contacts… bummer – need 6 to finish.. Hopefully sometime tomorrow I’ll finish this off. Not a bad start for poor conditions so hoping tomorrow brings better luck to allow me to finish.

Been on 40 since 0100 now 0330 and absolutely nothing.  Called CQ, only disturbed local airwaves apparently.  Merry Christmas.  Will hang the 20 meter antenna again in the morning and try again.  Now to look for Santa.  Good night.
