After 3hrs of CQing this am I just chkd PSKReorter to see that only one CA station heard me in all that time.

It's been a tough go from the left coast. Had limited radio time this round for the search, but was glad to make contact on 40M. 80M was too noisy when I was monitoring, even with my vertical.
