Re: PNW TH question

My Beam stop I guess is south, but my Yeasu Rotor goes past 180 both sides.  I mostly have EU/Asia on my beam so I  Have north open.  I rarely go south and if I need to go Pac I just swing past 180 to 210 (max travel).

Agreed Jerry.
This is the normal approach. In high winds I turn my antenna (SteppIR) so boom is across the
wind direction as my fiberglass element tubes have substanially more wind resistance than my boom.
I dont think Paula has to worry so much with a Hexbeam.

General rule is to turn the boom into prevailing winds.

Subject: [070] PNW TH question

Do those of you in the PNW leave your stop on the beam rotator in the North position? I’m not sure where I will be doing the most frequent aiming of my new hexbeam. I just got the rotator today and am calibrating it and getting ready for antenna assembly this weekend.
