Re: I need help with contacts with portable qrp operation

Sorry encountered a storm today on the summit, we had very heavy rain and high winds that snapped the mast into two, just about the time I was firing up on PSK31 , but I successfully activated two different summits today and made two S2S’s with a guy out of SC that was in NC on some summits. Next time I attempt to activate a summit I will let you all know.

I am involved with SOTA ( Summits on the Air)  and tomorrow aprox around 1400z +/- UTC I will be using BPSK31 on 20m and 15m bands I do not get to use BPSK31 to much on the summits I go to, I am trying a new set up and want to make all the contacts I can , I will be activating Big Bald W4T/SU-010 which is on the NC/TN border. To keep up with my activities you can see it here http://www.sotawatch.org/ . I will try to stay around the 1500hz mark. I am getting closer being a Mountain Goat

Thanks
