They were all like that, Dick. I worked 'em on 6m phone, and 20m phone QRP. Both Qs were "AG4KI -- 5 & 9. Thanks" even though both times we were having trouble hearing one another.
He was very popular -- especially on 6 -- so he wanted to work as many as he could, which was appreciated by many, I expect.
