Re: 80m Autumn Sprint - Attic Antenna!!
Dave Kjellquist, WB5NHL
Check my web site, http://www.oldcyberdude.com on
the ham pages for my 80 meter vertical!!!! It doesn't
fit in an attic exactly but ......I put the tophat on
the attic floor and drop a single inconspicuous wire
from the soffitt to the ground outside my shack. A
few "midnight" efforts to slice in 4 radials into the
turf and I had an 80 meter vertical. I make no claims
on efficiency but it loads over most of the band
without a tuner (of course resistors do to). Using a
tuner I get a 40 meter radiator that I use as an
alternate to the attic "slinky".
